This Fall, The 65 San Diego area PostalAnnex+ franchisees are pleased to support San Diego's Warrior Foundation.

This fine organization assists, honors and supports the military men and women who have so bravely served and sacrificed for our country.

With your support, the Foundation offers assistance to four groups of Warriors:

  • The S.I.'s or Seriously Injured - those that come home from Iraq or Afghanistan with immediate needs, both medical and emotional. With your help, we fly in family members and provide them with accommodations, transportation and anything else enabling them to concentrate on helping their Warrior with his or her recovery.
  • Exposure to IED blasts - The Foundation has been able to provide over 2000 laptop computers to those in the Veterans Brain & Injury Center to help with their short-term memory loss.
  • Physical & Occupational Therapy - For those in this program 4 years or longer, through the generosity of patriotic contributors, the Foundation has been able to provide a roundtrip plane ticket into Warriors hands so they can wake up in their own beds in their own hometowns on Christmas morning with their families.
  • Medically Retired - We help these great citizens transition into civilian life. One way the Foundation does this is with the new Freedom Station, an 11-unit living community opened in May, 2011 near Balboa Naval Hospital.
