With Live Scan fingerprinting there is no ink and no mess. We roll your finger over a silicon pad, and your print is digitally recorded into a computer. The computer then encrypts and sends your prints to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

A: For Live Scan fingerprinting (a digital procedure that transmits electronically all the information to the Department of Justice and FBI), your employer/organization needs to provide a "Request For Live Scan Service" form. This form is mandatory, and you have to bring it with you, along with a government-issued photo ID.
