PostalAnnex+ in San Diego - Mission Valley, offers experienced fingerprinting services in Live Scan and Ink Fingerprinting. No appointment is necessary Monday-Friday, but an appointment is needed for service on Saturdays. Our staff has several specialists certified by the Department of Justice to process Live Scan and ink fingerprints.

Q. How can I get a Live Scan done?
A. Just come to our store with the Request for Live Scan Form and a photo ID.  Some organizations provide the form, but if you do not have one, please print the Request for Live Scan Form that applies to your situation.  Make sure you have the correct form, otherwise your application might be rejected by the Department of Justice; please contact your requesting agency with any questions about your Live Scan forms.

Q. What is the cost ?
A. The rolling fee is $27.  There is an additional fee from the Department of Justice and the FBI that varies according to each type of application.

Q. How long does it take?
A. The process takes about 15 minutes.  No appointment is necessary for Live Scan and Ink Fingerprinting on Monday-Friday but is needed for service on Saturdays.

Q. What about Ink Fingerprinting?  
A. We are also authorized to provide Ink Fingerprinting.  The cost is $24 per card; if you do not have the FBI FD 258, we can provide you with one for free.
