Do you live in Torrance, CA and are looking for unique, eco-friendly jewelry and clothing?  Look no further than Tribu-Ecuador!  Established 2008, Tribu is a family owned business that offers Torrance locals handcrafted, eco-friendly, and trendy products from Ecuador.  The shop primarily offers jewelry made with tagua nuts, coconuts, acai seeds, acacia seeds, and more that are transformed into stylish necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.

Inspired by the natural beauty of Ecuador, Tribu is committed to social and environmental responsibility. Much of their jewelry is made from tagua nuts, a hard white seed also known as vegetable ivory.  Tagua nuts have been used for many years to manufacture buttons and jewelry as they are a source of renewable, natural material.  One of best things about tagua nuts is that they offer a sustainable alternative to animal ivory.

Tribu is owned and operated by Ecuador native Salome Santos and her sister-in-law Lizzie Martinez.  22 years ago, Salome arrived in the US as a student. Wanting to highlight handmade arts and crafts from Ecuador, she wanted to create a shop where people could find natural handcrafted products. After a trip back home to Ecuador to find what she had in mind, Salome returned to the US with luggage full of great products. She invited Lizzie to join her, and the two women opened Tribu-Equador in Torrance.

If you need to ship any of the clothing or jewelry you purchase at Tribu, the Torrance PostalAnnex location can ship your items via UPS shipping or FedEx shipping.  The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can even compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for your clothing and jewelry.
