Few things help cure the back-to-school-blues like great ice cream.  Luckily, Han-D-Dip Dairy Barn has been serving Livonia, MI locals frozen treats since 1963.  Customers can choose from a slew of treats including soft serve ice cream, flurries, ice cream sundaes, malts, shakes, floats, ice cream sandwiches and much more. With the variety of frozen delights available, the whole family is sure to enjoy a trip to Han-D-Dip.  There is even ice cream for dogs available, so family pets don’t need to be left out!

Since this year marks 50 years that the shop has been open, Han-D-Dip is celebrating by offering the Livonia community discounts on their menu.  This week only, all shakes, malts, coolers, and freezers are 50 cents off.  What better way to head back to school than help celebrate the 50 year anniversary of “the Dip” with a tasty treat?  Plus, Livonia locals who want to show their loyalty to the ice cream shop can order an anniversary t-shirt.

Han-D-Dip Dairy Barn was originally opened by Stan and Eunice Hancock in 1963, but after six years in business, they decided they were ready for a change. Pete and Cathy Hanson decided to take a risk and purchased the business; 44 years later they are still glad they decide to buy “the Dip.”

After cooling off with soft serve ice cream, if you need to take care of any back to school shipping, stop by the Livonia PostalAnnex where you can compare shipping rates for UPS, FedEx and USPS to see which service best fits your back to school shipping needs.  The friendly professionals even have office supplies so your kids can head back to school prepared.
