Martha Berntsen, a Ramona, CA resident since 1982, knew that the community needed a quilt shop, but not a dimly-lit, low-energy quilt shop.  Nine years ago, she opened The Crazy 9 Patch, a quilter’s paradise filled with bright colors and lots of inspiration.  With The Crazy 9 Patch, Ramona quilters don’t need to go down the hill to get a variety of fabrics and take different quilting classes.  At The Crazy 9 Patch, customers will find quilting supplies and books, along with the expert advice of employees who are all quilters themselves.  Those who want to learn how to quilt, or want to enhance their skills, can take a wide range of classes throughout the year.

On Saturday March 2 through Sunday March 10, San Diego county quilt shops, including Crazy 9 Patch, will be participating in the San Diego Cruisin Quilters Shop Hop.  Over the course of the week, participants can browse through 13 different quilting shops throughout the county.  The theme this year is “Just Desserts,” and each shop will be giving a free Dessert Block Pattern and Recipe.  This is an event quilters won’t want to miss out on!

If you need to ship quilting supplies you purchased at The Crazy 9 Patch, trust the Ramona PostalAnnex to ship your items via UPS shipping or FedEx shipping.  The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can even compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your quilting supplies.
