For Hillcrest locals who have been wanting to try a “paint and sip” class, but want something a little more hip and edgy, Art & Libation is for you.  Drawing inspiration from contemporary artists, tattoo artists, street artists, rock-n-roll, and the southern California culture, these unique classes are fun and creative.

Art & Libations was established in 2013 by artist Tiffany Acker.  After attending typical "paint and sip" class, she decided to start her own classes that were fun, creative and cool.  Thus was born Art & Libations, edgy art classes dedicated to nurturing creativity in artists, both amateur and professional.

Hillcrest locals who attend an Art & Libations class are in for a fun time.  The canvas, paint, brushes, easels, aprons, and instructions are provided.  Make sure to wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on, just in case things get messy.  Letting creativity flow is the most important part of the class, so those who aren’t feeling the featured painting can paint whatever they want.  The awesome staff will still be available to help answer questions and provide pointers.  The next class is coming up on Tuesday, April 82014 at the Bamboo Lounge in Hillcrest.  Check the Art & Libations website for more information and to sign up for a class.

If you paint something at an Art & Libations class to send to out of town friends and family, swing by one of the Hillcrest PostalAnnex locations to ship via UPS or FedEx.  The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your paintings.
