In case you hadn’t heard, Walk On Your Wild Side Day is April 12, 2014. As a day to try something you wouldn’t normally do, what better way to recognize the day than to go skydiving? Luckily for those living in and near Perris, CA, Skydive Perris offers indoor and outdoor skydiving. If jumping out of a plane isn’t your thing, but you still want to experience freefall, Skydive Perris has a vertical wind tunnel on site. Plus, the resort is a fun place to hang out, featuring a full restaurant and bar, swimming pool, pro-shop, and picnic areas.
Opened in 1976, Skydive Perris is a family owned and operated skydive resort. Customers can expect excellent customer service, quality equipment, and an experienced staff. Those who are jumping for the first time can sign up for a tandem skydive. During a tandem jump, you are harnessed to an instructor, so you can experience the thrill while relying on the experience of your instructor.
If you want to experience freefall more often, become a licensed skydiver through the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program offered at Skydive Perris. Through the AFF program, participants can earn the right to jump solo in as few as eight jumps. After AFF, start working towards obtaining the ‘A’ license, which will allow you to jump with other licensed skydivers.
After your skydiving adventure, if you’d like to send a souvenir of your dive to out-of-town friends and family, stop by the Perris PostalAnnex to ship via UPS or FedEx. The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can even compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your packages.
