Pet owners want the best for their furry friends and can be very selective about where they choose to shop for their pets. If you’re a pet owner living in San Diego County and have yet to find a grooming and pet supply store, consider checking out Dirty Dogs. A family owned business, Dirty Dogs offers “cage free” bathing and grooming services your dogs and cats will actually enjoy. Customers will also find premium dog and cat food along with healthy treats and a wide variety of toys and gear to help you keep your pets happy and comfortable.

When the Btesh family's youngest son, Joel, wasn’t able to find premium dog food and a fun dog washing facility for the family dogs, the Bteshes came up with the idea for Dirty Dogs. On a mission to, “provide San Diegans with the healthiest pet foods and top-of-the-line, natural dog grooming services for their four-legged loved ones while supporting local, dog-friendly communities,” the Bteshes have opened five locations in north San Diego County.

Dirty Dogs works to help all animals, not just their clients. Currently, they have partnered with Helen Woodward Animal Center to collect donations for AniMeals, a program which delivers pet food to elderly and homebound citizens so they can care for their furry companions. Now through the end of July, you can visit any of the Dirty Dogs locations to make a donation.

If you purchase pet toys and supplies which you’d like to send to friends and family who live out of town, stop by one of PostalAnnex locations in San Diego County to package and ship your gifts. The friendly professionals will even compare shipping rates between UPS and FedEx to help you find the best rate and service.

With 88% of the private companies in the U.S. employing 19 or fewer employees (Source: U.S. SBA), we at PostalAnnex believe local businesses are vital to the health of the U.S. economy. Therefore, PostalAnnex is pleased to feature Dirty Dogs as our Featured Local Neighborhood Business and encourages locals to buy from local businesses.
