October 22, 2013

With Halloween just over a week away and the rest of the holidays not far behind, this is the perfect time of year to make some festive crafts.  Those living in Point Loma, CA who want to stay local for their paper crafting have just the place to go: Paper Tales.  Opened in May of 2008, Paper Tales offers Point Loma locals a place to go for paper craft and scrapbooking supplies including ribbon, pens, embellishments and more.  Follow the shop on Facebook for updates on new products and classes.

Over the next week, Paper Tales is offering several Halloween-themed classes.  On Friday, October 25th, there will be a Spooky Copic Mini Book class. Using gothic colored Copics, students will create a Halloween-themed mini book featuring the newest Frou Frou girl from The Greeting Farm. Point Loma locals who can’t make the mini book class will want to stop by Paper Tales on Sunday, October 27th for a fun day of spooky crafting where participants can create three dimensional haunted houses.

Paper crafting is a great way to put a personal touch on holiday cards and gifts.  Create holiday greeting cards, gift tags, decorations, scrapbooks and more for yourself or as a gift.  Point Loma locals who want to get creative for the upcoming Christmas season but need a little extra help and inspiration can participate in the upcoming holiday themed classes in November.

If you need to ship your Halloween crafts to out-of-town friends and family, the Point Loma PostalAnnex locations can ship your items via UPS shipping or FedEx shipping.  The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can even compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your crafts.
