This Saturday, February 23, 2014 from 10:00am to 12noon, Danville, CA locals and their dogs will want to stop by Blackhawk Plaza for Yappy Hour, a community event celebrating humankind’s best friends. There will be fun activities, tasty treats and raffle prizes for pets and their owners. Two of the establishments in Blackrock Plaza, G.R. Doodlebug, a specialty toy store, and their sister store, Read Booksellers, will be participating in the fun by offering dog-related books, toys, gifts, and home décor. Yappy Hour is sure to be a fun, family-friendly event that Danville locals and their dogs won’t want to miss out on.
In addition to attending Yappy Hour, Danville locals will want to visit G.R. Doodlebug and Read Booksellers every Wednesday at 11am for story time. During story time, a member of the friendly staff reads aloud a children's book from their latest collection. This is a great weekly activity for children to make new friends and be exposed to the latest literature.
