Donation Can Be Doubled With Public’s Help
SAN DIEGO, CA, March 9, 2016--Annex Brands, Inc, on behalf of its PostalAnnex franchisees and other brands in its shipping businesses, presented a $2,000 check to Partnerships With Industry (PWI), a Mission Valley (San Diego) based organization which provides skill building and jobs for adults with developmental disabilities.
The donation has the opportunity to be doubled to $4,000 by an anonymous donor if PWI raises an additional $10,500 by March 31, 2016. Those interested in learning more about PWI and donating can visit the organization’s website, PWIWorks.org.
“At our recent national convention, we wanted to use the critical mass of having our 400+ franchisees in one place to do something good for a charity,” said Steve Goble, Vice President of Marketing Communications for Annex Brands. “Their generosity funded this donation to a very valuable organization.”
Founded in 1985, PWI has helped over 12,500 adults turn intellectual or developmental disabilities into abilities to work, gain greater independence, and achieve more confidence. PWI places its clients into jobs in the hotel and food service industries, warehouse fulfillment, product assembly, and more.
