A Sweet Affair was opened by Terry Babcock after he moved from Ohio to California. With the goal of establishing an old time bakery, Terry baked everything from scratch with only the best ingredients, and he never used preservatives, palm oil, or lard. Today, Terry’s daughters, Sarah and Jennifer, are continuing on with the family tradition.
Over the years, the bakery became so popular that the Babcocks decided to open another location in Danville, CA in 2011. Currently, they have plans to expand even further by opening another bakery in Walnut Creek. Even with their continued growth, A Sweet Affair continues to offer Walnut Creek and Danville locals the high quality baked goods and service they have come to expect.
