Batavia locals who love the vintage looks will want to make sure they check out a new, local vintage shop, The Salvaged Heart.  The shop offers a variety of unique home décor merchandise like recycled items, repainted furniture, handmade decorations, and supplies for avid DIYers.  Having just opened in the spring of 2014, The Salvaged Heart has eagerly embraced their first holiday season in business.  Even with Halloween today, Batavia locals who visit the shop will still find a great selection of fall and Halloween-themed items to help them put the finishing touches on their homes for the spooky day.  Plus, the shop has even more exciting things planned following Halloween.

On November 12 – 15, 2015, The Salvaged Heart is partnering with fellow local businesses 715 Vintage and Bee Attituded Antiques to present the Holiday Vintage Market.  The market will take place at The Dock in Downtown Batavia and feature 22 vintage booths.  The Market starts Thursday, November 12th with a cocktail party and continues through Saturday, November 15th.  This is a great opportunity to support local businesses and complete your holiday shopping early, so make sure to mark your calendars and participate in the fun and festive event.

After you’ve had a chance to browse through the great selection home décor items and The Salvaged Heart and pick up holiday gifts at The Holiday Market, if you’re ready to ship your holiday gifts to faraway friends and family, visit the Batavia PostalAnnex to ship your items via UPS shipping or FedEx shipping.  The friendly professionals at PostalAnnex can even compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your gifts.
