Each Sunday, The Barrel Room in Rancho Bernardo, CA hosts a wine tasting. Coming up on Sunday, March 30, 2014 is the Component Tasting where participants learn about the different flavors and aromas found in wine. Whether you are a beginning or experienced wine enthusiast, this tasting is fun opportunity to increase your wine knowledge. Follow up the Component Tasting with the Blind Tasting on Sunday, April 13, 2014. One of the Barrel Room’s most popular tastings, participants try to figure out what they are drinking using only the senses of smell and taste. This is a great opportunity to utilize what was learned in the Component Tasting.
The wine list at the Barrel Room is truly impressive. With over 250 bottles of wine to choose from, Rancho Bernardo locals can enjoy their wine while dining in the restaurant, or purchase a bottle to take home.
